A deductible is the amount per year that you will have to pay out of pocket, before your insurance covers the remaining costs for the work you are having done. A deductible is something that has to be paid in addition to the amount that you pay per year for your insurance coverage. Sometimes the deductible only applies to certain services. With most dental coverage, a deductible is only applied towards basic and major work, such as filling root-canals or crowns, but not towards preventive work such as x-rays or cleanings.
The following is a list of some of the insurance plans that we participate with. If you do not see your plan listed or if you have any questions about your specific plan, please call our office and we will be happy to help.
How Do I Use a Specialist?
The In Office Saving Plan works similar to many dental plans on the market. You pay a monthly membership fee for benefit coverage on your dental expenses. The Plan is designed to help cover preventive services such as cleanings and oral exams. This provides coverage that can be budgeted at an affordable monthly expense while receiving good benefits for your higher cost dental services.
If asked, most people would agree that decisions about dentistry are best made between the patient and their dentist, without a third-party company’s involvement and restrictions. The In Office Savings Plan is different! It has been designed to provide you and your family with affordable preventive dental coverage that your dentist administers. Not only does the Premium Plus Plan provide outstanding coverage for preventive dentistry, the plan offers excellent coverage for major dental procedures like crowns, root canals, bridges, implants and dentures. Since your In Office Savings Plan is not administered by a third party insurance company, all the decisions regarding your dental treatment will be decided by you and your dentist – Dr. Hamam, Dr. Lamb, or Dr. Turanchik, without the need for claim forms, approvals, deductibles, or waiting periods.
