Sam J. Hamam
Dr. Sam J. Hamam received his undergraduate degree from Niagara University and then graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1990. Dr. Hamam is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Southern Maryland Dental Society. He has been a partner in Clinton Family Dental since 1994 and practices all phases of restorative dentistry, but he especially enjoys cosmetic and implant dentistry.
Dr. Hamam, his wife Alexandra, and his son Christopher live in Alexandria, Virginia. Dr. Hamam enjoys traveling, going to the theater, and watching several sports activities.
Jared W. Lamb
Dr. Jared W. Lamb received his DDS from the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore in 2007 and continued his training with a residency at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, and the Southern Maryland Dental Society, and is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Lamb has been at Clinton Family Dental since 2009 and became a partner in 2011.
Dr. Lamb was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, and has been married to his wonderful wife, Joanna, since 2003. He is an active member of his church and enjoys traveling, hiking, photography, and the occasional house project.
Rachel Leister
Dr. Rachel Leister has been involved in dentistry for more than 20 years, beginning her journey at just 16 years old as a dental assistant. Early in her career she discovered a passion for helping people feel comfortable and cared for in the dental chair, which inspired her to pursue dentistry as a profession.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry with honors from Virginia Tech before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Rachel joined Clinton Family Dental in 2015 and became a partner in the practice in 2018. She is passionate about building long term relationships with her patients and believes the best dentistry comes from trust, education, and personalized care. Her goal is to help every patient feel confident in their smile and comfortable with their treatment.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Rachel enjoys hiking, yoga, fitness, and traveling with her husband. She is especially passionate about service and global outreach, participating in dental mission trips both locally and internationally. She has provided care on missions in countries such as Romania, Moldova, Liberia, and Guatemala. Giving back through dentistry remains one of the most meaningful parts of her work.
Shree Patel
Dr. Shree Patel is a dedicated dentist with advanced training in comprehensive care. After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at UT Health San Antonio. She is passionate about helping patients restore their teeth, improve oral health, and feel confident in their smiles.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Patel enjoys running, playing pickleball, traveling, and exploring new foods - she’s actually Yelp Elite! She is a proud member of the American Dental Association.
Janet Kim
As a Southern native, Dr. Janet Kim received her DMD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She continued her education at the University of California, San Francisco, receiving her pediatric certificate and Master's degree. Dr. Janet has always been passionate about treating children and specializes in behavior management - especially children with dental anxiety.
Dr. Janet loves cooking and trying new recipes at home. She also enjoys spending time with her two dogs and going on new adventures.
Shiva Mostowfi
Dr. Shiva Mostowfi graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, in 2006. She subsequently completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Dr. Shiva then went on to pursue a residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the Roseman University of Health Sciences in Nevada in 2012.
Dr Shiva is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association and is invisalign certified. She is thrilled to help brighten the smiles of her adult and adolescent patients at Clinton Family Dental.
